Canna Oil FAQ
Our Canna Oil contains a full-spectrum cannabinoid extract, blended with coconut MCT Oil. Our elixirs are made with whole-plant extracts, as mother nature intended; leaving the full profile of terpenes and cannabinoids in the oil. We never use harsh solvents or chemicals to extract our oil. We have a variety of different blends available, with more coming soon.
To extract our oil, we only use natural, food-grade chemicals with lab grade equipment (no butane is used). Our oil is filtered multiple times to ensure the highest quality and purity. We do not isolate any parts of the plant or cannabinoids. Our oils are lab tested to ensure patients receive the right blend for their needs.
Our plants are grown outdoors, under our powerful sun, without the use of any synthetic fertilisers or pesticides.
We use different strains of cannabis plants depending on the blend and desired effect.
Our Sativa extract uses Transkei grown Sativa plants.

Technically speaking, CBD oil is Cannabis Oil. CBD is a chemical (cannabinoid) found in Cannabis. Our Canna Oil is full spectrum, meaning it has CBD and many other cannabinoids found naturally in Cannabis.
After extracting the 'cannabis resin' from the plant, we blend the thick tarry extract with coconut MCT Oil. After that the oil is put into our specialsied ultrasonication equipment to further combine the cannabis extract into the carrier oil, whilst also making it highly bioavailable.
This is different from a tincture which is usually in an alcoholic base.
We use coconut MCT oil as our 'carrier oil' for the cannabis extraction. Making it safe for children and animals (in certain blends). Using a carrier oil has many advantages over directly ingesting the thick, pure extracted oil.
We blend our extracts with fractionated coconut oil (MCT oil), which is rich in saturated fats - particularly medium chain triglycerides (MCT). These small fat molecules, combined with the cannabinoids, are very easily absorbed by the body. MCT oil has very little flavour too, making it easy for anyone to ingest.
Using MCT oil as a carrier oil, dosage is far easier to understand and administer. Our oil is taken orally, under the tongue, which is absorbed directly through the mucous membranes, providing direct delivery to the blood stream and offering rapid and full absorption into the body.
