Description
These traditional Kuripes have been lovingly made by Kuntanawa rappé handicrafts experts. They work at the Tete Pawã arts and crafts studio, located in the upper Juruá region of Marechal Thaumaturgo municipality, way up on the Amazon river. The only way to get there is a two day boat journey or with a four seater airplane. It is now in your hands. Use with respect, care and prayer.
Suggested Use
A kuripe is a V-shaped self-applicator for Rappé. Load a very small amount into the shorter end, place the longer end gently at one nostril, and blow steadily through the mouthpiece. Repeat on the other side only if appropriate. Clean after use and keep it dry between ceremonies. Use only with finely prepared botanical snuff and never share without proper cleaning.
Why it belongs in the bazaar
