The salve we have handmade since 2017
We make every small batch with lots of love and care, using organic coconut oil, four plant butters, carnauba wax and a full-spectrum cannabinoid infusion. Warm a little between your fingers and rub it into the skin where you want it.
The base
The recipe starts with oils, butters and wax
We make Canna Salve as a fat-based balm set with plant wax. It stays firm in the jar and softens as you warm it between your fingers.
Organic virgin coconut oil forms the base. Cacao, shea, mafura and mango butters give it body and help it melt smoothly against warm skin.
Instead of beeswax, we use carnauba wax from the leaves of a Brazilian palm. That keeps the formula vegan.
Then come neem and argan oils, with lavender, geranium, eucalyptus and rosehip.
The infusion
We infuse the extract into coconut oil
We infuse the cannabinoid extract into organic coconut oil, which forms the base of the salve as well as carrying the plant compounds.
Full spectrum means the extract contains a range of compounds from the plant rather than one isolated cannabinoid.
Our Extra Strength version uses a more concentrated extract and adds DMSO.
Where it goes
Warm a little between your fingers
Scoop out a little and warm it between your fingers before rubbing it into the skin. It also makes a great massage balm.
We describe Canna Salve as non-psychoactive when used on the skin.
Keep it away from the eyes and take care around open wounds.
